haha..okay first off I want to say how stupid people are or can be for that matter..okay..the definition of a palendrome: something that is the same when read forwards and backwards..in example: racecar or mom, dad etc. Why is everyone saying that 02/02/02 is a palendrome?! no matter which way you write it..it is NOT the same forwards in backwards..it's either 20/20/20 or 2002/20/20. Now find me where that's a palendrome, and I will be quiet :-) The telegraph even called it a palendrome..ah! And my teachers at school. eerrghh! But anyways..ha.
it's actually Sunday, but I changed the time of this so I would still be on 02/02/02..I'm a dork :-) So I am going to write as if it were still Saturday.
Today was interesting..I did a whole lot of........NOTHING! I was an online junkie that ate a lot and watched marathons on tv. My plans were squashed when the person that was supposed to call me about the plans said "be right back" and never came back. According to Danielle, Brian and Justin were supposed to call me to go to the movies as well..and they never did. So at 10:00 I went out to applebees (woo!!) with my parents and little brother..then took a joy ride to 2 walmarts to see if any were open so we could buy patriots stuff..one was open..no luck with the merch. So me and my dad are going to go looking after my driving hour, which is at 12:30 (eekk!) On a different note, after driving with my dad yesterday and practicing 3 point turns (yay) I found out my cousin Jeff is getting married! YESS!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be more happier! So in the past ehh..3 months maybe..there have been 2 engagements on my mom's side. and I am on cloud 9..I love weddings!! :-):-)
Well I gotta go..I have a new sn..sorry Rach..I had to do it..it resembles yours a lot, but doesn't have the same significance as yours does..and no I did not copy her guys..I tried forever to think of something totally different, but it didn't work..If you want me to change it, just tell me :-) I still have trackcutie14, but won't be using it so often, since someone called me conceeded for having it..and I didn't like it. so its.. mdash551: M for melissa, dash for the races i run..55 (for the 55m dash) and the 1 (for the 100m dash.) hmm. sorry rach..I don't want people thinking I stole her sn, hmm.

a little tired thats all.
Lastnight was a lot of fun..afterall WINNING is pretty fun. Now I myself didn't win obviously. I got 3rd in my heat, 12th overall (out of like 34)..my time was 8.4 (what the coach put me down as expected to get), qualifying is 7.6, not that bad for a sophomore's first varsity race...they didn't match you up with people that run the same speed as you (like they usually did)..so I was running with some super fast girls. Sheesh! It was disappointing, cuz I saw the tape and noticed my form was off and I looked sloppy..but the overall experience with the sprinter girls before-hand was awesome. Warming up, getting the muscles ready..laughing..realizing the official put me and Jeanine in the same heat, same lane..Keely almost slamming into a runner, in his own race, while she was warming up..just overall goofing off made it a lot easier for me..and less nervous. Seeing my name up on a wall with the varsity results made it all worth while. This year the team is so awesome..we are closer than ever. The seniors' motto is "Do what you gotta do, but don't forget to have some fun!" Hugs were very visable lastnight, where as last year, there were clicky groups. If you have never been to a Track meet, you'd be surprised at how exciting it can get..it's not just "run for fun, whoopy, and la-de-da" The first half hour is intimidation time. Where when you run around the track to warm up..you try and be the LOUDEST in there..you can here the "Gimmie an N. .N!!..Gimmie an A. .A!! . . . ." cheer when we are there, "What's that spell?!" "NASHUA!" "Say it again!" "NASHUA!" "Who's the Best?!" "NASHUA!" Wooooo!! Even stretching causes for some commotion..Counting loud, so it echos, clapping after every stretch. Wow..you guys probly think I am such a dork for thinking Track is such a great sport and going on about it..well if that's the case, then poo to you. hehe. Come to atleast one..when we are there..theres some good competition to see..especially when NHS, BG, or Central are there.Central was there lastnight, we're pretty evenly matched..but they are just..hmm..I won't start. It was fun to be facing eachother during the relay and totally having a scream off with them..even though they took our cheer.
Wow..too much written..I apologize if you read the whole thing..No wait..why am I apologizing? It's MY journal! so HA!

Ya-Hoo! I finally have enough money to buy myself a fiiiine hunk of electronics..a video camera! Thanks to the Salvation Army bell ringing job..I collected $161.61 without counting my "bonus" check coming in a week or so. Thus, the running total will be about $270 yaya. Plus I have a big chunk of money from other jobs/christmas..making me have all together..a running total of...none of your business! muahahha. Just enough to buy myself a video camera. Yahoo!
Lastnight was mucho fun..Dani came to pick me up at my casa..and we walked up to her house in slippers..she was so giddy..i loved it! We watched the "Wedding Planner" and it was awesome..I love that movie! We called "Cheeks" to wish him good luck for his wrestling tourny..and then Danielle walked me halfway home.
I actually got to sleep in this morning..due to my request. Since I have a meet, my parents let me.
I'm not as nervous right now as I was before. I am going through the "calm before the storm" thing..haha. I like relating my life experiences to hurricanes and tornados. Yah, so I am packing a lot to bring to UNH today..my pillow, music, camera, shoes, slippers, blanket. It's a long ride there and back..and I want to sleep! haha. Should be very fun though! Well I gotta get going..leaving the casa at 2:30 to make a 3:00 bus. Wish me luck!

hmph. what a day..well sorta.
-7:15am wake up call for practice.
-8:00: Practice..easy..worked on my block starts then did "sticks" for a workout. ahh i love 'em.
-9:30: Watched my wrestler boys for a bit..while waiting for my ride. Someone puked..and my cousin made some kid clean it up..fuuunnnnyyy..hehe. I laughed.
-11:00: Realized I needed running flats (race shoes) for tomorrow..since my other ones were too big. That's the punishment I get for being suckered into buying shoes from a cute guy at Sports Authority last spring. Cute faces are what suck me in. haha.
11:00-3:30: Lounged around, worrying about tomorrow's race, and whether i would have shoes or not..and just plain, flat out feeling sick to my stomach from who knows what!
4:00-6:30: Out shoe shopping with my dad..I eventually did pick up some shoes. PHEW! I got my babies..ahh I love my shoes! hehe. Also went to Home Depot to pick up some stuff for my newly renovated room. Ya-hoo! My Dad taught me how to check to see if there is a "slight warp" in wood. Thus finding the perfect board. Score! Last time I was at Home Depot, it was 11:30pm in the Spring..and I was with my Dad..there were these two highschool aged guys in there..and they whistled at me..muahha..me and my daddy got a kick outta that.
Now I am home doing..mmm...nothing. Plans fell through for tonight yet again. Thanks to..boys! So I am going to yet another movie night at Bake's house. This time..a little more cuter movie: Wedding Planner.
My Grandparents are leaving tomorrow for Florida..for 3 months. :-( I was going to go see them, but my parents are coming home from their house soon..so they couldn't pick me up. BLAH! Talk to you soon..

today must be "kill plans with Melissa Day". Cuz that's pretty much what happened. Now none of the happenings were done on purpose, so I can't really be mad. Plans with Nate fell through for tonight..then my buddy Matt called about tomorrow..and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "Eh, bad news" So from then on it went downhill. I was pumped to be hanging out with him tomorrow..since I haven't seen him since July, and I love the kiddo to death, he rocks my socks..But he has an Ortho appt. Damn teeth. and he's staying in the area to visit familia. Bummer. I was really looking forward to it. :-( Oh well. He might be coming to my meet on Saturday at UNH..so I am SUPER excited about that! **Cross fingers and kisses the ceiling for good luck** Hopefully those plans won't fall through, otherwise I won't be a very happy camper.
Today was pretty fun otherwise..went "bonding" with my mom at the Mall of NH. We went to the "Build a Teddy Bear Workshop" and went through the stages to make ourselves some FIIINE lookin' bears. First you pick the type of bear. Bring it to the "Stuff Station" where they stuff it..put a "heart" in it. But before you do that, they make you look like a complete dork because they make you kiss the heart, hold it to your face, your nose, your heart, hug it, jump on one foot, turn in a circle close your eyes and make a wish..then stick it in the body. Um yah. this is while everyone is looking at you.. Oh well..my little bear came out FabUlous! He's pretty large, white, with cute paws..wearing a jogging suit with a hood and a gold medal. I got him running shoes, and they had the same slippers I got for christmas with the paws. Keen! His name is Dasher for the race I run (55m dash. He is 21 inches, 18 onces (as said on his birth certificate) and is OH SO CUTE! Very good idea if u want to do something on a rainy day. Super cool minus the jumping/kissing part. After the stuff station you go to the "Fluff Station" where its this big tub and you press this button and air comes out, so you can "fluff bathe" them. Then you pick out clothes, dress them in the "changing area", head on over to the computers, type up some info, and check on out! Super fun. Then after I went to Famous Footwear to purchase some new running kicks..that place gets a lot of my business! I keep them from going bankrupt! Anywho.
I am really nervous for Saturday, just running the 7 second race makes me feel sick to my stomach..let alone that I am running varsity..Ahh..somebody shoot me! I need to go get ready for tomorrow and eat my chinese food..and to make things worse..they messed up my food order! BLLLLLLLLAH!

good afternoon! Hope everyone's Christmas was SuPeR grand! I was in the mood for some sleeping in late action. but I don't get that until saturday. Since I have practice at 8am everyday. arrgghh. I can't complain, I love track. Meet this saturday at UNH..who's gonna come?! You ALLLLLLL are! hehe. I worked off all my Christmas food that's for sure! and it felt Gooo-ooo-ood to run! Lastnight there was an awkward family moment so people left my aunts house a little bit earlier than usual. Then me my mom, and my dad went over to my aunt sue and uncle john's house and "debriefed" of the day. It was a lot of fun. I like doing surprise visits. Then came home, felt sleepy, and tested out my new awesome pillow..slept a little then off to practice. The wrestlers were doing funny stuff today, and Vinny mooned me. I told my cousin jokingly, and he told Vin it was sexual harassment. haha. very funny. Vinny's new nickname is "Cheeks" and it's gonna stick.
Well I am going to go take a shower since i feel gross from practice..(cute eh?) then I am going to clean out my room. YAY! see you all later.

MERRY CHRISTMAS BABY!! Wow! It's finally here..waaaa-hooooo! I am so excited..I feel like a like a little kid. hehe! I got this really awesome camera this morning..and some smooooth slippers! and some more aweeesome stuff!
Lastnight was grand..Church was fab..brought my family to Crossway, it meant a lot to me for them to come. They liked it a lot and will most likely be coming Sunday mornings. Mission Accomplished! Then we headed on over to the Duncans for the annual X-mas eve bash. SO much fun! All the boys there are college age, and they are so funny! Brian and John are like older brothers to me..same with Will..but younger, and Kathleen is my sis! Ryan Pratt was there, gotta love him, he tickled me and ran down the stairs..i chased him for a little while, then i knew it wasnt worth it, since all the guys were down there and they would have tickle tackled me. John Eason and Bri were playing pool..me and Emily were laying on the floor..I kicked Brian's legs in when he was shooting, then John's..so they attacked me with the blue chalk, all over my face and my nose..they pinned me so I couldn't do anything. Heh, then John broke a cookie over my head. stupid boys! haha. I had so much fun!
This morning we got our annual call from the Duncans to tell eachother what we got. This time John (the oldest) called, and was SO excited because he got a kitten. It was so cute. I had known, so we had to act surprised. For them getting a kitten, it's like us getting a kitten, since our families are so close. YAY Kitten!
My dad played this really mean joke on our family members in Virginia. See, my uncle al died about a year and a few months ago..he was living with my grandfather (who died last january) so we had to take charge of the ashes. My grandfather's ashes are still at the funeral home..so we didn't have to worry about that. WELL, obviously nobody wanted to take the ashes, it just freaked everyone out. So when we went to clean out my grandfather's house, we would always try to stick the other person with them..so on and so forth. Well, when it came down to the last time we would be in the house, my uncle had secretly stuck the ashes in my dad's box of stuff to take home. He found it later and was like "awwwww man!" and came up with an idea. It's so bad..haha but it something that my dad is known to do. Well he wrapped my uncle up like a present, put a card on him that said "Ahhhh, home for the holidays" and sent him to my aunt, uncle and cousin's house mixed with the other gifts UPS style. Oh yes, you read right. He did it to get back at them for sticking him in his box. It may sound mean, but it was soooooooooooo funny! You have to know my family well to understand this, We called them up not too long ago, and they told us how my cousin Kevin opened it,
thinking it was a valuable gift (its in a very heavy, sealed marble box), realized what it was, and dropped it.
Well now that I have rambled on long enough, I want all you guys to comment and let me know what your favorite gift/moment was this Christmas Day. Spill it! Tell me alllllll about your day!

Ya Christmas Eve! Finally..the day before the day everyone always waits for, allllll year long. None other than the spectacular CHRISTMAS! Wa-Hoo! This morning consisted of me going to track at 8am..chatted it up with a few of my wrestler buds, did some joking around, ran a hard workout, then presents! My secret Santa, Kendra, made me an NHS Track T-Shirt, which I love SOO much! She got a BIG hug for that one. Plus, she gave me some glitter (of all things, haha) that is purple. And some Lotion! I love Kendra! haha. It's good to have a Senior as your Secret Santa, since they can usually afford something/do something really cool. Last year, I got chocolate..which was good, but i found it in my room the other day. Hence, a fellow freshman gave it to me. But presents don't matter right? I was Amanda Richards' Secret Santa this year, and got her this very large purple bear, a purple bandana, a grinch stuffed animal (she's obsessed) and put it all in a large, decorated, purple stocking, with glitter paw prints and her name on it. Awwwww. I wanted to keep it. haha. I'd just have to change my name to Amanda. It could happen.
Well I better get a move on. I have some wrapping/relaxing/listening to my parents talk about the gifts they are wrapping to see if i can hear any of the goods/watching tv to do. I will be seeing some of you at church most likely. 4:00 service.

today was okay. big bummer that i couldnt go to Rachel's cookie fiesta. work called and wanted us in for 2. AND we had to work at Market Basket..sorta a bummer there..it was alright..its the boys that keep us going. haha. Today must have been "Rude Day", I'll check the calenders..but it sure seemed like it was. Everyone just seemed to be so rude today..more so to Danielle. Example: Danielle was bell ringing at the far end of MB and first someone told her to 'go home and do her homework' and someone else said 'sucks to be you' and someone else said 'bah humbug!' and the killer of it all was someone flipped her off. She got soooo mad, we went on break. Someone told me to 'get a new job' and some lady was swearing when she was talking to me about how her cab was late..and told the cab driver on the phone that they can ask "The Bell Ringer" about how a cab never showed up. WHAT THE?! I am now officially known as "The Bell Ringer", schweeet! You'd think that people would be more happy around this time of year. Stupid rude people.
This week was flattering though. I was told that I had amazing eyes, made some new wrestler friends, and today when we were at Papa Ginos, a worker named Jason told Danielle to tell me hello..I guess he likes me and Danielle (we had met him 3 weeks earlier)..I mean, can you blame him? We're Hotties..with a capital H! haha. Anywho..tomorrow shall be grand..i am helping out at Rising Sun, and the Par-tay is later in the evening hours. Whoopy!
Well I'm pooped..Todays rating: 5 (Turning on Disney and finding that the "Sandlot" was on, boosted it up a bit.)

sitting here..tying up my dad's fax line. if he finds out, i'm toast. dreading practice which starts in an hour. WHERE'S MY SPANDEX?! AHHH! Hills..I'm gonna die. Progress report was bad in my eyes..maybe not in others. Only good part of today..Wrestling meet, still to come. my cousin Scott is going to be there cuz he's a PT..and I get to say congrats for the wedding proposal. Wa-hoo! Hugs are in call for, for sure. My cous' Keith (and teacher to some of you who read this) stuck a post-it note in my hair today. negative on that. Wayne Shores can't be mean..he just can't. He tried to be all aggressive and threw my agenda book on the floor and then looks at me, picks it up and goes "im sorry..really." haha. School pictures are almost gone..makes me feel loved...nah not really..haha. Officially met Missy's Neil today in gym. Had no idea he had gym the same time as me..haha. He's a great kid. We chatted about jobs..i'm supposed to bring in a picture of missy when she had a bad hair-dying experience end of 8th grade.

bleh. Just ate supper, and I am feeling the effects of practice. BLAH! Easy practice today..did some cool resistance stuff, where someone pushes on your shoulders and you start moving your arms like a complete idiot and start running and pushing them, then they let go and you go ZOOOOM! down across the gym. Harness is cool too..that was yesterday..they hook you up to a leash and you run..it rocks. The team is starting to dwindle down to nothing..there were all of like 8 sprinters today. what is that?! there used to be like 20. Slackers..haha. Tomorrow is 5 hills. AHHHHHH..I think I am going to pass out just thinking of them.
School pictures came back yesterday, mine are decent I guess..I want YOURS!
I pulled a "tony" on Becky today..it was supurb..worked like a charm. Josh Welper's brother doesn't believe that his coach is my cousin. Some nice lady offered me and Maas a cookie when we were doing our workout today. it rocked. Tomorrow=wrestling meet..my cous' wants me to go..and my other cousin will be there as well in case of injuries (hes a PT)..A Family Affair! I guess someone tried to commit suicide today in school and Elm Street..is that why there were EMT's walking around? And there was a biig accident and the kids are in critical condition. Today was a Day Of Harmony..had an assembly..Dan Rhodes was holding a flag and it was funny..very unexpected. haha. My stomach grumbled today in geometry and eddie bush thought i farted and told mike brown, and mike made a big deal out of it..haha..stupid boys..then they told greg cote at the assembly and greg goes "so uh...I heard you broke wind" i was like NOOO!! Greg cote was hitting on Rachel today and he goes "once you go fat, you NEVER go back! Look at this!! You want it! Ohh baby!" and pulled up his shirt and started hitting his stomach..ahhhhh haha..me and cind could not stop laughing. i almost peed my pants.
Finished my homework since i had an eternity of time before practice..it was at 4:30..I have never been so bored..being at NHS from 7-6 is more than I Ever wanted. PHEW! I think I covered everything. Rob D. just IMed me..gosh I love that kid!
Well I think I am going to pully a "Cindy" and go to bed at 7:47 yes? no?

Snow....Snow....SNOW!! WA-HOO! How much do I looooove snow? Oh..ya...a wHoLe bunch! It actually started snowing yesterday at like 5:30..well a few flakes here and there..and I was the only one that saw them..we were bell ringing..and Danielle went into Ames to buy gloves..I was standing out there and saw a few snow flakes and I was said to a lady "AHH IT's SNOWING!" and she looked at me funny and ran inside Ames. Then later on when it reeaaalllyyy started snowing, some lady told me and Danielle that we made it snow because we were dancing..we did a "snow dance" haha. So many cute/awesome things happened lastnight. Por Ejemplo (sp? heh), Little boy came up to us and went "mewwy cwistmas" actually a few little tykes did. One little boy had a quarter from his mom to put in..and he totally ran over to the electronic merry-go-round..haha, and me and danielle started laughing..and so did he. SO cute! *Another Thing* There are these two elderly couples that meet and shop at Ames every Saturday night..they park in the same places and everything..and then sit on the bench and watch us. Little old man comes up to me and danielle and goes "Why aren't you dancing? You were dancing last week" So we waited until he got outside to leave and went all out dancing..square dancing "Swing your partner round and round" type of thing. He laughed..got in his car and honked his horn..Aww. Then Danielle did a "dramatic" form of lip-synching to Silent Night..and I did an interpretive dance in the street...people were laughing..it was great! At one point I was catching snow flakes..and the people inside the store had no idea what I was doing..(at this point it was barely snowing..and i was running around like a crazy girl with my tounge out)
